The Damned Things are a supergroup featuring members of Anthrax, Every Time I Die, Fall Out Boy, and now Alkaline Trio. The group released their debut album Ironiclast back in 2010. The supergroup started in 2010 when Andy Hurley and Scott Ian started writing music together. After a few shows promoting Ironiclast, the band went on a hiatus. Today, they confirmed their return via a facebook post. The band also stated that their new album High Crimes will be available in April.

The post offered a promo photo of a current lineup - Scott Ian of Anthrax, Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman of Fall Out Boy, Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die, and most recently added, Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio.

Trohman told Kerrang! Magazine that they were going to put out an EP, but then ended up with enough to make a full length album. He stated “The demos have been sat on for about two years now and he still hasn’t gotten sick of them.”

High Crimes will be released April 26 through Nuclear Blast and the supergroup is playing their first show (in nearly seven years!) on May 4th at Welcome to Rockville.
