April Fool’s day is known for the awful pregnancy, engagement, or “your favorite band is breaking up” jokes. One band had to stick out from the others though, and thankfully that band was bloom.

bloom. was giving hints about their announcements all weekend, and me being the fool that I am was scared to believe them. Thankfully, I was only partially wrong. They did have a huge announcement, but they also had like, um, three more announcements?!?! Their first post today was about their beautifully made music video for their single “goodbye forever.” The boys suit up, which we love, but also delve into some deeper topics. It’s an emotional video and directed so extremely well that it certainly isn’t one to miss. Along with this post, they also announced a newly launched website for their merch. Super sick, right? Oh, but they were nowhere near done. 

Their next post was announcing one of their catchiest songs yet, ‘better way.’ The song is on all music platforms and is ready for that “play” button overkill. Then the fourth announcement was about their third ep, withered. This ep is set to launch May 6th, and features 6 songs, including ‘better way,’ ‘goodbye forever,’ and ‘evaporate.’ Get on over to pre-saving that ep asap, because they described it as their “strongest collection of songs yet.”

Due to the complete overload of bloom. today, I vote we now change April 1st to national bloom. day. We celebrate by only listening to bops and avoiding capital letters. Who’s with me?
