Hayley Williams, front-woman of Paramore, celebrated her 31st birthday this past Friday, December 27. She took to Twitter to thank fans for the birthday wishes, while also giving them a bit of a surprise; she will be releasing new solo music as early as next month. 

“I’m putting out some music next year,” Williams posted. “It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January”. 

Fans' response to the announcement has been overwhelmingly positive; however, it does spark speculation about the future of Paramore, given they haven’t released music since their 2017 studio album After Laughter. Williams has previously stated that the members of the band remain good friends and they do not anticipate breaking up, so it is possible that we receive new music from Paramore in time.
