Australian metalcore band Polaris, who are gearing up to release their second full-length album The Death Of Me on February 21st, 2020 via Resist/SharpTone Records, have premiered another new single from the album. “Hypermania” is now the second single from the band’s sophomore full-length, the follow-up to “Masochist” released in early November.

Although fans will still have to wait until next month to hear the rest of the album, Polaris have given more-than-enough to chew on until then with these two singles. In contrast to “Masochist”, “Hypermania” leans into riff-heavy instrumentation and completely screamed vocals. In fact, you might easily compare it to the likes of more classic, throwback bands in the genre such as Every Time I Die. This is the reason Polaris are considered by many to be one of the most promising bands in the scene.
