Saving Vice announced Tuesday morning that they will be releasing their 10 track debut album Hello There on February 21st, 2020, which includes their previously released singles “Endgame,” “Never Knows Best,” and “Hollow Bastion.”
The young New England metalcore band, coming off an impressionable debut EP release in Colder Than Dark (2018), have accumulated a lot of anticipation from the scene since dropping their new singles as early as July of 2019.
Although independent, Saving Vice have made a name for themselves since their formation in 2017, playing on some major festivals like the Vans Warped Tour, iMatter Fest, and Heavy Fest, and accumulating hundreds of thousands of streams on their limited music.
“The love we received for our EP [Colder Than Dark] was so surprising and unprecedented that I was nervous when writing this album,” explained guitarist Robbie Litchfield. “It was important to me as a songwriter to keep improving our sound, but I also wanted to make sure our fans were going to be happy too. I was so relieved when I saw how much love people were giving our new singles, which I think were an appropriate follow up to our EP.”
“What I will say is that no two songs on this album sound the same,” he continued. “We really took an A Day To Remember-esque, mixed-genre approach on this one, and I think that’s what’s going to make it so special and accessible to everyone who gives it a listen.”
Saving Vice do not currently have any tours, but recently announced their album release show for Saturday, March 7th in their hometown of South Burlington, VT at Higher Ground. You can find tickets here.
