Recently, a fan has taken on the task of compiling all of Bring Me the Horizon’s best hits into one must-hear medley. Bring Me the Horizon have gone through many transitions in sound, which has brought up questions of which direction the band was heading with their music. While they’ve gained and lost some fans along the way, any Bring Me the Horizon fan should agree that this medley is impressive.

Lucas McCaffrey uploaded ‘Bring Me the Horizon - Underground Big (Metalcore Medley)’ to YouTube on January 20, 2020, incorporating twelve different Bring Me the Horizon songs into one compilation. McCaffrey uses the band’s entire discography to create this medley, incorporating songs such as “Doomed” from That’s The Spirit, “Can You Feel My Heart” from Sempiternal, “Don’t Go” from There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven Let’s Keep It A Secret.,” “Pray for Plagues” from Count Your Blessings, “Diamonds Aren’t Forever” from Suicide Season, and their newest single, “Ludens”, among many others.

These songs are interwoven expertly so that they flow into one another without any gaps. The fluidity of the medley keeps the listener on their toes, eager to hear which song will come next. It was also clever of McCaffrey to not put the songs in chronological order and instead randomize the hits in a more continuous fashion.

McCaffrey’s metalcore medley allows listeners to transport though each one of Bring Me the Horizon’s different sounds and see that they are all cohesive. While there continues to be complaints about the band’s change in sound, Bring Me the Horizon have continuously demonstrated they are leading this scene in terms of creativity.
