After weeks of teasing, My Chemical Romance have officially announced a massive North American headlining tour set to run from September 9th through October 11th, 2020. Tickets will be available this Friday, January 31st at 12 pm EST.

In the most theatrical of fashion, this announcement came at the end of a 15 minute film featuring a young boy summoning the return of My Chemical Romance. The boy is chased through iconic locations from previous music videos ultimately ending in The Forum stadium, which will serve as a stage for this epic tour. Of course, the video is a representation of the bands ever-dedicated fanbase summoning their return after 7 long years.

Having received a teaser just yesterday, fans were quick to decipher several of the sigils to reveal various locations across North America. Now that the news is official, fans will need to be quick this Friday if they are to get tickets.

What did not come with this announcement was new music from the band, even though they have been heavily teasing it since before their reunion show in December of 2019. The clearest indication of new music came from a recent teaser from the band, where a symphonic backtrack has been recognized by Shazam as a song entitled “An Offering”. Perhaps there is more to come from the band in the near future.
