Back in July of 2019, California band The Ghost Inside had confirmed they were in the process of writing new music for an upcoming album. Now it seems the band is coming full circle by not only confirming the studio album is finished, but that they are working with A Day To Remember's Jeremy McKinnon and Fit For An Autopsy's Will Putney. This is big news considering it has been a full 6 years since they released Dear Youth back in 2014, and it will be the first new music since the 2015 bus crash.
In an interview with The Downbeat Podcast, Andrew Tkaczyk only spoke on what he was legally allowed to, but there’s no denying this is a truly inspiring story given the recent history of this band.
Having McKinnon and Putney on the finished product will certainly garner some attention and will most likely cultivate in one of the heaviest records to their name once it drops. The band had previously worked with McKinnon on Dear Youth, as well as Andrew Wade, another heavy hitter who has worked with top acts, such as Neck Deep and Wage War. Addition of Putney to the mix gives this album another level of interest, given his recent involvement with bands such as Knocked Loose, Vein, Every Time I Die, and Thy Art is Murder.
