After almost ten years, Real Friends has mutually parted ways with vocalist Dan Lambton. The announcement came this afternoon on Twitter via a post from Real Friends account.

In the post the band stated, "What the future holds, we aren't entirely sure yet - but we are excited and optimistic. At the same time we wish our brother and friend Dan the best. He will continue writing with rationale. and livestreaming on Twitch. This is not the end of Real Friends. We have simply turned the page on a new chapter.”

Dan also chimed in with his own post on Twitter. "Over time this band has changed, evolved, and reached a place where out paths are diverging, leading us to this collective conclusion … either way I am grateful to have experienced all the opportunities presented to us as Real Friends. We have been able to do so many amazing things and share many intimate moments with so many incredible people. For that I am grateful."
