1. The Maine - Pioneer

This album found me during a time when I needed it the most. I am still struggling for a sense of identity but this record and this band always remind me that its ok not to be ok and that I will always have a place where I belong. There are so many important songs on this record for me and if it wasn't for this record I don't know where I would be today. If it was up to me I'd put all their albums in my top 5 but I want to show that they are not all I listen to.

2. Pierce The Veil - Collide With The Sky

3. Knuckle Puck - Copacetic

4. Too Close To Touch - Haven’t Been Myself

5. The Plot In You - Dispose

1. A Day to Remember - Homesick

A Day to Remember’s Homesick is recognized as one of the greatest albums this scene has ever been graced with, and for good reason. The ability of this band to blend breakdown-heavy, chugging metalcore with infectious, pop-punk-inspired choruses, became the defining element of A Day to Remember, and they perfected that sound with Homesick. Considering they still play close to half of this album at every live show is a true testament to the impact this album had on their fan base. This album came into my life at a time when everything it stood for hit so close to home, and that is why I have chosen it as my favorite album of all-time.

2. Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

3. Bring Me the Horizon - Sempiternal

4. My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

5. Underoath - Define The Great Line

1. State Champs - The Finer Things

This album is one of my all time favorite albums because it has so many classic Champs songs on it. It also was the first album I ever heard from them, and reminds me of my Albany roots. I grew up going to Albany nearly every weekend, and find myself there just as often now that I’m older. Champs has allowed me to meet so many new people and friends over the years by attending their wild hometown shows. Some of my favorite show memories stem from their shows.

2. Chase Atlantic - Chase Atlantic

3. PVRIS - White Noise

4. Fit For A King - Dark Skies

5. Breaking Benjamin - Dark Before Dawn

1. Say Anything - …Is A Real Boy

I could listen to this album a thousand times and still not be tired of it. It captures the sneering indie punk of the 2000’s perfectly and features some of Max Bemis’ best songwriting. It’s pissed, angsty and tongue-in-cheek.

2. Escape The Fate - Dying Is Your Latest Fashion

3. Movements - Feel Something

4. Neck Deep - Life’s Not Out To Get You

5. Fall Out Boy - Take This To Your Grave

1. Beartooth - Disgusting

This album hit hard when it came out because it was so relatable. Sure Attack! Attack! had a couple of great hits, but when Caleb Shomo decided to start over and first released the SickEP, and followed up with this album, it was the start to a new love. The album lets you feel every emotion that’s trapped inside of you and allows you to release them by singing and screaming along to each track. For anyone who is struggling, listen to “In Between” and you will hear how raw the song is and will be able to understand what I mean.

2. Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out

3. Bring Me The Horizon - Sempiternal

4. A Day to Remember - Homesick

5. Neck Deep - The Peace and the Panic

1. Of Sinking Ships - Of Sinking Ships

The brain child of Chad Waldrup of Hopesfall, It’s an melodious masterpiece in which Waldrup had  played every single instrument for the album. Each track is as beautiful as the last, transcending our audio senses to a calm and soothing soundscape in which nothing else exist but the instruments and yourself. Though the album centers itself around catchy and atmospheric post-rock guitar riffs, each short track keeps you coming back for more even after the album is finished. From the quality production to pure genius instrumentality throughout, it’s impossible not to fall in love with this album.

2. Coheed and Cambria - The Unheavenly Creatures

3. Intervals - The Way Forward

4. Zebrahead - Brain Invaders

5. New Found Glory - Not Without A Fight

1. Set It Off - Cinematics

This is my top album because each song has stellar musicianship, detailed and abstract lyrics, relatable overtones, and a great theatrical overall vibe. Cinematics was the first album that introduced me to the scene and made me the pop punk trash I am to this day. Songs such as “Freak Show”, “Nightmare”, and “You Are Loved” were a constant reminder to keep on swimming when waters got rough. The horns in “Plastic Promises” had me absolutely obsessed and the energy that was shown in the studio and on stage was absolutely killer.

2. You Me At Six - Hold Me Down

3. As It Is - Never Happy Ever After

4. My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge

5. All Time Low - Nothing Personal
