Fall Out Boy’s pop-punk classic “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” has been certified platinum in the UK, as of today! With over 600,000 sales to date, this is an amazing milestone for the band. The track is also a part of the already platinum-certified album Infinity on High, which earned this prestigious title back in 2007.

Around the time when Fall Out Boy was making their transition into the mainstream, the successful release of their second album From Under The Cork Tree had landed them a number 5 spot on the Billboard 200 in May of 2005, Grammy nominations, and an MTV Music video Award. 

Keeping up with the hype, the band would come back to release Infinity On High, one of the most diverse records the band would ever make at the time. The pop-infused platinum-certified track “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” would be overseen by artist/producer Babyface. Accompanied by a music video that featured Kim Kardashian, the track would also do very well in the US , where it would peak at number 11 in March of 2007.

“Thnks Fr The Mmrs” was not only a track on one of the most distinct records for the band to date, but also a record that took risks. It showed the band was capable of producing a rock record enriched with different genres that would go on to be one of their most successful releases of all time.
