With a tweet that surfaced last week, Hands Like Houses advertised that a new song would be making it’s way on March 10, 2020. The tweet contained a video clip featuring a short snippet of the song, which would manifest later as “Headrush”. Keeping in strides with their experimental roots, this will be the first new piece of music we have heard from the band since full length effort Anon was released back in 2018.

Since the song’s release, it has caught the attention of many fans and music publications, all with positive reactions. “Headrush” is being released just weeks before the band’s upcoming Download Festival performance in Australia and Europe beginning on March 20th. Until then fans can hang onto this little gem till it can be heard live very soon.

This addicting anthem-like track focuses on themes of overcoming hardship, while at the same time touches on other subjects of the heart, when it comes to making difficult choices in life. All accompanied by a video featuring some very colorful green and purple psychedelic visuals, it's by far some of the most unique material the band has introduced in quite some time.
