On Tuesday afternoon, Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto took to Instagram to share his current thoughts regarding the situation currently unfolding all over the world.

In Leto’s debriefing, he shared that he was on a twelve day silent meditation retreat in the desert, that of which consisted of no outside contact with the world. During this time, Leto had no idea of everything that has since been cancelled, shut down, or rescheduled in our world due to the growing cases of Coronavirus.

While it is likely that Leto was well aware of Coronavirus before he headed out on his retreat, the world was a very different place two weeks ago. Businesses were still open, the grocery stores weren’t raided and empty, and life was continuing on as normal, with just some general concern over the virus. The world Leto stepped back into two weeks later is almost unrecognizable to someone with no contact to the outside world. 

Leto stated “Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing - to say the least”. Leto told fans to stay inside and stay safe.
