BMTH8 is on the way! Earlier this morning, Bring Me the Horizon posted a video to their Twitter page with the caption ‘announcement’. The video is just short of a minute and a half in length, with footage of what is happening in the world right now - the Coronavirus pandemic. In the video, the band’s videographer Brian Cox talks about what the band is up to, and says he will be documenting it for the band.

Cox says that the band has abandoned recording studios and are working from home remotely on the band’s 8th studio album. Cox stated “I’m going to capture them live, and we will bring you regular updates so that you can be involved with the recording process”. He also says that they wanted to do something to help get everyone’s mind off the chaos that has risen from the mass spreading of Coronavirus, and the government’s orders for everyone to self-quarantine and only leave the house for essential reasons. This will give fans an inside look into what the band’s recording process is like, and give them a taste of what is to come from their 8th studio album.

You can watch the full video below.

Frontman Oli Sykes also took to Instagram to give fans a further update, saying “we have everything we need to create the new record. & we want to involve you in the whole process - so from tonight, we will be sending constant updates of our progress, doing live chats and streams with you guys.. hopefully to bring a bit of joy & light to you guys in these dark times”.

Sykes adds that everyone should stay safe and wash their hands.
