Pierce The Veil Share Acoustic Performance of "Hold On Till May"
After being quiet for quite some time now, Pierce The Veil came together on Easter Sunday to perform their popular single “Hold On Till May”. The band wanted to remind fans that they are here for them during these uncertain times, and to give a big thank you to everyone dealing with this pandemic on the front lines.
The brief stream begins with Vic Fuentes explaining how much they as a band are thinking about their fans and why they chose to perform “Hold On Till May.” The band then takes turns updating the viewers on how each of their lives has been impacted and what they have been up to during quarantine, while encouraging fans to comment on how their own lives have been.
From playing rooftop golf, setting up at home recording studios, day drinking, and finding silver linings, it is safe to assume Pierce The Veil are handling this isolation period as well as every other antsy human: miserable at best, yet staying afloat. As soon as the band reminds everyone to wash their hands they sign off from speaking and transition to their at-home acoustic performance.
Each member playing from their own homes and recording themselves to form one video with four screens. Near the end of the song, Vic Fuentes pulls out a melodica, playing a synthesized melody that soothes the soul. In classic Pierce The Veil fashion, the video ends with a blooper outro.
When our motivation and happiness spiral down the drain, a video from a favorite band is what we need to keep pushing forward and keep holding on till May. You can watch the acoustic quarantine performance of “Hold On Till May” below!
