On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Angels & Airwaves made their way back to the current music scene with another single, “All That’s Left Is Love.” The band has sporadically graced us with singles since 2015; however, we have not seen a full album since 2014.

What is different with “All That’s Left Is Love” is that all proceeds will be going directly to charity, specifically Feeding America. Several artists have used their platform to help the community during the COVID-19 crisis, and with the ongoing rise in unemployment and food banks having food shortages, Tom DeLonge could not stay a bystander. DeLonge spoke on Zane Lowe’s show, mentioning “It was very simple for me to make one phone call and say ‘Why don’t we do this? Because this is something that everyone needs right now’… It kinda worked out, and that’s how you know it’s meant to be.”

A side project of his, Box Car Racer, has been teasing a reunion, yet this is all speculation. What is certain is that “All That’s Left Is Love” is out of this world amazing and worth giving a listen to.
