Currents Announce New Album With Single "A Flag to Wave"
Today, Currents made a Facebook post announcing their new record, The Way It Ends with the drop of their new single “A Flag to Wave.” According to their Facebook post, “‘A Flag to Wave’ is about the search for identity and purpose. The message of discovering who you are meant to become is portrayed visually in the music video, using live stage and behind the scenes footage from both their 2019 tour with Northlane and 2020 tour with Silent Planet.
Adding to the song description, Currents states, “We’ve been met with various hardships along the way, but have also been met with unprecedented kindness, support, & friendship that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. There are no plans of stopping and with our new record, we plan to hit the world harder than ever.”
Their fourth full length album, The Way It Ends, is scheduled to be released worldwide through Sharptone Records on June 5th, 2020. Pre-order bundles are already available for purchase. The band will also be releasing their own bundle options within the next week through their merch store.
