Point North to Donate $10,000 to No Kid Hungry
Point North are finding a way to give back during uncertain times. The LA pop-punk band announced Monday morning they’re hosting a fundraiser for No Kid Hungry and will be donating $10,000 from their recording budget.
“To us, Point North is much more than just a band we play in. It’s a vessel for us to give back when we can to those in need,” the band said.
No Kid Hungry provides meals and resources to families experiencing hunger and food insecurity. The organization says a $10 donation can translate to 100 meals for a child. Point North announced they will match donations for every $1,000 until their total $10,000 has been donated. With many children depending on school for their meals, more children now than ever are going hungry. Check out Point North’s fundraiser here.
