Fit For A King, We Came As Romans Announce Collaborative Songs, Merch
Fit For A King and We Came As Romans are teaming up for the first time to release collaborative new versions of their songs. FFAK vocalist Ryan Kirby joined WCAR for a new version of their song “Carry the Weight,” while Dave Stephens of WCAR handled vocals for a new take on FFAK’s “Backbreaker.” The reimagined songs will drop later this month on May 29.
We Came As Romans announced the collaboration Thursday night on social media. The band said they missed touring and working with other bands, so this was their solution in the age of social distancing.
(1/3) One of the things we love about touring is that we get to work with some of our favorite bands - we miss that, and wanted to create something that allows us to work with some of our favorite bands, and gives all of you a cool experience.

The metalcore heavyweights also announced collaborative merch, which is set to go on sale tomorrow and will only be available this weekend. Both bands, like many artists in the music industry, are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. FFAK recently announced the cancellation of their Dark Skies tour, while We Came As Romans sold merch to support their crew while the band is unable to tour.
