Movements are back with their first new music since their 2017 debut Feel Something, as they announced their forthcoming album No Good Left To Give will be out September 18th via Fearless Records.

The SoCal band quietly dropped the lead single “Don’t Give Up Your Ghost” at midnight, with an official announcement this afternoon. The song showcases the melancholy post-hardcore the band has honed over the past few years, with a clear goth influence drawing on bands like The Cure.

The band hinted at a new album earlier this year, but the official announcement and release was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Back in April, Movements asked fans for patience, admitting they could not release the album as planned with the touring and entertainment industry on hold. It seems they’re finally comfortable with releasing the album to the world.

Preorders are available here, with the band donating a portion of proceeds to The Solutions Project, which provides funding to organizations fighting climate change with an emphasis on leadership by people of color and women.
