Linkin Park Teases ‘Hybrid Theory’ 20th Anniversary
Linkin Park’s massive debut Hybrid Theory is turning 20 this year, and it seems the band is planning something special to celebrate. The band’s website is designed like a Windows 2000 desktop, with Hybrid Theory’s cover art as the background.
There’s plenty of Easter eggs on the site, including what appears to be alternative cover art for the album and emails between band members discussing a “secret project.” The desktop date is even set at October 24, 2000, Hybrid Theory’s release date.
The band’s official Facebook is hinting at an announcement tomorrow, so the mystery will be revealed then.
