REVIEW: Lethal Injektion "Tomb of Roses"

Last month, one of nu-metal's new up and coming sensations Lethal Injektion dropped a new track "Tomb of Roses" via Rufflife Records. Though this band is no stranger to releasing unique music since 2016, "Tomb of Roses" is a testament to the intriguing and unmatchable sound they have strived to create over the years.

The band has coined their own sound - what they refer to as "west coast metal" - and Lethal Injektion has spent the last few years releasing three successful works within this soundscape, all reaching top marks on iTunes and charting high within Amazon's alternative metal ranks. In 2016, they released EP Sex is Power, shortly after they would drop LP Sex, Money, Power that same year. In 2017, Judgement Night would then make its sophomore release and would do well independently worldwide.

Lethal Injektion has continued their tradition of always evolving and keeping people on their toes with "Tomb of Roses." With dark atmospheric trap vibes integrated into the beginning that morphs into a titanic of a track, filled with enormous guitar riffs, massively talented screams, great rap lyrics, and melodic instrumental moments enveloped into every turn, it's an engaging experience that will end the summer on a high note for the Tuscon native band and Nu-metal fans alike. If this band continues to fire off great tracks like this, there's no telling where this band will go within this genre.
