If one were to list a few of the most influential pop punk bands, The Wonder Years surely would have to be considered. That being said, when this scene staple teases anything new, one can count on immense anticipation and great expectations from the greatest generation of Philly music. It was no wonder why fan's excitement grew on Monday, December 1st, when the band tweeted "Set your alarms. Mark your calendars. Tomorrow at 7:30 pm EST, we’ll be live premiering our new video for our new song ‘Out on My Feet’” on YouTube. We’ll be hanging out live in the chat before the video plays and be leaking some early info on a big pre-order!" As promised, The Wonder Years came through with their word, not only premiering the new single, but also leaking news that any hardcore fan would kill to hear. 

Before "Out On My Feet" was officially premiered, vocalist Dan Campbell appeared on the screen announcing a small commercial the band had made. Instantly we are shown the aforementioned commercial, with once again Soupy taking the reigns, announcing that the band will drop The Upsides and Suburbia 10th anniversary box set on their merch store. The box set includes four LPS including both albums, a bonus LP, and an archival LP. In fact, there are two versions of the box sets, each including a different style vinyl. The bonus LP includes b-sides from each album including "Out On My Feet" and "Brakeless." The Archival LP includes a mix of demos and iPhone voice memos, creating a unique view into how each record got built behind the scenes. All artwork is original artwork from the original artists, and on top of four colorful LPs, there is a 32-page full-color booklet including essays from all the members. 

A box set was not the only news leaked, as Dan continues to announce in his creatively made commercial the launch of a webstore. The webstore will have a mix of throwbacks and new ideas, bringing both nostalgia and suspense to the dedicated and curious fan. 

The video for "Out On My Feet" itself was as if the scene was taken back in time, back to the simpler days of The Upsides and Suburbia era. Weaved throughout the video was live show footage from 2010 and 2011. Rambunctious crowds at a variety of venues, some of which have unfortunately had to close their doors in today's time. When the world has been missing out on the live music scene, what we needed most was a reminder of what will soon once again thrive. While it may take some time for tours to return, The Wonder Years have provided grieving fans with a dose of serotonin and hope for the future.
