Travis Barker is arguably the scene’s hardest working man. The drummer/producer’s 2020 was filled with collaborations from Machine Gun Kelly to Post Malone to Run the Jewels. In an Instagram post, Barker replied to a comment asking if there will be a new blink album this year with a simple “YES.”

The upcoming release would be Blink’s ninth studio album. While Barker was collaborating with rockstars, rappers and everyone in between this year, bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus made a guest appearance on The Used’s album Heartwork (which Barker also appeared on). Vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba has been laying low minus the lone Blink track from 2020, “Quarantine.” The single dropped in August, giving us a hint of what to expect from the upcoming full-length.
