Beartooth Announce New Album ‘Below’

Beartooth have announced a new album, Below, coming out Friday, June 25th. The band haven’t released new music since 2018, besides Aggressive Remastered/Reimagined, so this announcement hits differently and makes followers excited for what is to come for the band.

Beartooth also just released their second single from the album, “The Past is Dead,” but as we can see, the future for the band is very much alive. This single, released today, has the distinct ‘Toof sound. There are a few extra twists, including the reinvented breakdown at the bridge.

The beginning of “The Past is Dead” also gets listeners excited because the opening of the song will sound amazing when live shows are back. The audience interaction will make a large impact during a live show, and the breakdown will make an interesting yet exciting mosh pit interaction. Who knows if fists will be flying, people will be pushed to the ground, or if the dino stomp will make an appearance.

Make sure to also check out the music video for “The Past is Dead” to add a little heat to your Friday.

Beartooth released the first single from Below, called “Devastation,” on March 19th out of nowhere. This was refreshing and a perfect surprise. Who doesn’t like a song to start out with a solid scream from Caleb Shomo? The chorus is very catchy and this track makes you reminisce after hearing it and relating it to the old Beartooth sound. The boys are back.

Make sure you pre order this album now at beartoothband.com. It is now live and the wait is going to be torture.
