ANDRÉs releases epic New Single “the one who stayed away”
Andrés
What may have been a throwaway Dance Gavin Dance demo has now come to life as a milestone track in Andrés' discography. It's no secret the impact and influence Dance Gavin Dance has had on Andrés' music once you've given it a spin. Upon signing to the label owned by guitarist Will Swan, Andrés was fortunate enough to receive a couple of demos Will had worked on that didn't make the cut.
At the time titled, "Spilled Milk" the demo had a pop guitar driven song structure reminiscent of the funky danceable bridges that would pop up in a DGD song. Andrés made a demo version of the song with his vocals and guitar parts before taking the session to Pete Adams and Johnny Kosich who brought the single to life in the studio.
Pete Adams is credited with working with bands like Rain City Drive and Broadside, while Johnny Kosich has credits working with acclaimed hip hop artists Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar. The dynamic studio duo brought the track to the level of "modern warped tour band standards" and the label instantly knew it would be the first single off the upcoming release, "Purgatoryland".
After releasing a music video directed by Raul Gonzo(Directed videos for AFI, IDKHOW But They Found Me, and Kat Von D) the label is ready to give this debut release the push it needs for fans everywhere to tune in.
