“DIY punk festivals are the most inspiring kind of event in the scene” - Don’t Miss New Friends Fest!

This spring, we were incredibly excited to announce our sponsorship of New Friends Fest 2022! We are psyched to attend the festival in Toronto from July 29-31 and are looking forward to seeing bands we love, discovering more amazing artists, and of course, making some new friends!

2022 is the third year that this screamo and post-hardcore focused heavy music festival will occur, with some returning acts like Respire, Terry Green, and Obroa-Skai, but plenty of new faces as well. Among the first-time NFF performers are Californian hardcore group Dangers and Italian screamo band Øjne. Both of these groups spoke to New Friends Fest about what this event means to them and what makes DIY punk events so special, sharing heartfelt sentiments about the Fest as a unique opportunity to connect with others and feel inspired.
