Half me is back with their latest single in the cycle "Exitwound." Featuring Jack Bergin of Void of Vision.

Since 2019, the German nu-metalcore heavy-hitters have been crafting an impressive work that sculpts intense lyrical stories surrounding hypocrisy, grief, and even death. Now "Exitwound" finishes off such a pensive single cycle, making its final departure on the emotional struggles of dealing with betrayal.

With aggressive guitar tones effectively hatched in and percussive cadence riping through minute by minute, Half Me once again is stepping up their game in the genre and is showing no signs of stopping.

Vocalist Christopher Zuehlke had this to say about the track:

"While feeling betrayed is a negative experience in itself, the illusion is lifted and allows us to see with true sight. I realized way too late that this person's smile was not sincere and only served his own purpose of taking advantage of me. Ultimately this is a learning experience I am very thankful for it, even though it hurt."
