Light The Fire releases zealous single “Decompose”

Dallas-based hardcore band Light The Fire recently dropped their latest single, “Decompose.” Rising from years of extensive touring, the group has made a mark on the Billboard charts and accumulated millions of streams. Formed in 2011, they’ve independently launched two EPs, followed by three albums on Standby Records, each surpassing the success of its predecessor. As their 2019 album Compassion In Unlikely Places touring cycle concluded, Light The Fire embarked on a transformative journey, transitioning from metalcore to a more melodic hardcore approach.

Drawing inspiration from contemporaries like Counterparts and Knocked Loose, this evolution culminates in their upcoming LP, Death Won’t Be The End Of Me. The album features six singles, including a notable collaboration with Mike Perez of No Bragging Rights. Light The Fire exhibits sheer determination, passion, and energy more than ever as they gear up for the next expansion of their journey. “Decompose” conjures up some serious magic and demonstrates the band’s bold new vision. The accompanying imagery incorporates an abanadoned setting of a haunted house that coincides visually with the unsettling and intriguing ambiance of this next chapter as Light The Fire prepares to conquer the world and emblaze everything in their path.
