New Motionless in White Single “Masterpiece” is an Emotional Gut Punch

The bad news is that the end of the world may be around the corner, but the good news is that Motionless in White will be writing the soundtrack with their upcoming album Scoring the End of the World, dropping June 10th, 2022.

The lead single from the album, “Cyberhex,” is one hundred percent the kind of track you’d expect from Motionless in White. In stark contrast, their follow-up single resembles “Another Life” off their 2019 album, Disguise. “Masterpiece” is an emotional tear-jerker that won’t just pull on your heartstrings; it’ll rip your heart out of your chest and show it to you while it beats.

“Masterpiece” starts with a hauntingly beautiful melody delivered somberly by Chris Motionless while accompanied by tender guitar arpeggios. The song builds to the full band rocking out until the chorus slams into you with a hook that will undoubtedly compel fans to sing along. Anyone who has caused a loved one to cry could relate to the chorus, and you may find yourself playing the track repeatedly while attempting to hold back your own tears. Don’t be surprised if you find emotional catharsis from “Masterpiece” while trying to forget your failures.

Motionless in White made no mistake when they brushed this song into existence – if you miss this masterstroke, you’ll have a hard time forgiving yourself. “Masterpiece” is a must-hear!
