Rise In Vein Continues Stream of Powerful Releases With “Ain’t the Same”

Canadian heavy rock quintet Rise In Vein are continuing their stream of powerful releases with new single “Ain’t the Same,” their fourth single of 2022, following up their metalcore anthem “Fear & Co.” Stepping temporarily away from their heavier edge, Rise In Vein have delivered a stadium rock anthem that would rival the best output from bands as I Prevail or Breaking Benjamin.

“Ain’t the Same” is about overcoming the dark times in one’s life. “We’re talking about saying no to those inner demons, taking control and quitting being a victim,” says vocalist Stéphane Aubé. “We wanted to reinforce the fact that everybody has the power to be who they want to be, but that the struggle to access this inner freedom is sometimes a long and arduous journey.”
