The week may be halfway over, yet there is no need to wait for the weekend; Sleeping With Sirens slid under the radar with a slamming new single, “Bloody Knuckles.” The new single hit the airwaves before its official release at midnight EST. Renowned radio DJ Caity Babs gave Octane listeners a treat when she spun “Bloody Knuckles” Tuesday morning. Fans who tuned in got their first taste of new Sleeping With Sirens, instantly taking to social media to show their appreciation and tweet initial reactions. While the song has already gotten radio play, “Bloody Knuckles” officially premiered at midnight with a release party hosted on YouTuber and Twitch streamer Newova’s Twitch channel.

When describing the new release, Kellin Quinn told Rock Sound “I feel like a lot of bands are going more alternative and we kind of wanted to just bring it back to, you know, like our golden days with the Warped Tour sound and stuff. So it’s really fast, it’s got a heavy breakdown in it, [and] it’s everything the kids are gonna want.” Kellin Quinn also addressed the Twitch release party crowd by saying, “We were thinking about Reading & Leeds when we wrote this song.” While this release is still unknown to be a stand-alone single or part of an album, Kellin has hinted during the single release party that Sleeping with Sirens will be returning back to the studio on June 29 for yet another album. According to Kellin, this next album cycle will be “turned up a whole notch” from the last album, How It Feels to Be Lost. Not only do we have to wait for the record, but Sleeping With Sirens will hold off on touring until the recording process is complete. At least we have something to hold us over! You can stream “Bloody Knuckles” on all streaming platforms.
