steely eyed cat Releases Pop-Punk / Hyperpop Hybrid Track “everyone is at a party”

steely eyed cat is a French vocalist, lyricist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who draws artistic influence from many different sources, including pop-punk heroes like Paramore and blink-182, poets like Anne Sexton, and surrealist artists like Mimi Parent. Her latest single “everyone is at a party” blends pop-punk, alt rock, and hyperpop to create a fizzy little track that you’ll want to play again and again each time its 96-second runtime has ended.

Regarding her creative process, steely eyed cat shares that, “I have ADHD and I feel that this comes through in my songs, especially this one. My writing and the way I work on my music are very chaotic, impulsive, and intuitive.” “everyone is at a party” is about embracing boredom and loneliness, things that we all face sometimes whether we like it or not.

The next steely eyed cat single, due for release next month, is about a young summer love. Check out the “everyone is at a party” here!
