Independent act The Sight of Impact have been in the business of breaching unprecedented territory within their music since they debuted onto the scene with their self-titled EP back in 2018. Since then, the band has continued to make a grand impression within the scene. Now the South Texas alternative/ nu-metalcore band is back with another impressive track, "Unrealistic." This will be the latest piece of music we have heard from the band since their 2020 single, "Venom."
While "Venom" was a voluminous instrumental adventure in itself, "Unrealistic" offers unexpected highlights of its own with blasts of towering guitar leads, unflagging percussive cadence, and convictive lyrical and vocal delivery. The band had this to say about their new release.

"Unrealistic is about staying true to yourself and not trying to be something you’re not. Some people struggle with trying to replicate someone or something else and put on a fake persona/image just to get some sort of attention. This song is about separating those things from yourself and making a difference with your original influence."
The Sight of Impact continues to prove with this release that they have what it takes to remain at the forefront one of the best in the genre in the current scene.
