Grayscale Return With First Single in Two Years, "Painkiller Weather"
Written by Shelby Kazen
Grayscale is back with their new single "Painkiller Weather". This is the first new music since their 2017 album Adornment. Although there is no news on an album dropping anytime soon, the band has posted this with the caption "Very Soon".
The band seems to be leaning towards more of a pop sound compared to previous tracks like ‘Atlantic’ and ‘The Fever Dream’ however, it still stays true to their roots. We're excited to see the new direction in which their heading and hope to see more tracks in the future.
Grayscale states:
""Painkiller Weather" is a song about being hopelessly in love with someone who can't put love in front of their vice... It's about trying to understand how they think and feel what they feel. We're excited to have new music out for the first time in two years."
