Tyson and Adam, the duo from California that is known as Crooked Teeth have released a new song this past Friday, June 28. It is a song falling just short of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, but honestly worth every second of listening. It falls under the alternative genre, and sticks out to me as a bit of a rock song as well.

Interestingly enough, the band has a song called ‘You and Me (Whatever)’, which came out last year and has the lyrics “you and me forever” referenced several times. This new song almost seems like a continuation of that song, or just builds off from that general idea. The two songs, sounding very different from one another, are both definitely something to check out.

The instrumentals in ‘You and Me (Forever)’ is unique in its own way- it stands out from a lot of other alternative songs that I’ve heard, including the guitar solos. I think that nowadays it's difficult to create music in a specific genre that sounds unique, and while this song is clearly an alternative sounding song, it has its own unique elements that are very enjoyable.

I definitely recommend checking this song out. As someone who was unfamiliar with this band prior to listening to this song, I can say with confidence that I will definitely be checking out more from them.

The single is available to stream on major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

Listen to the song on Spotify here.
