So Cal Alternative Rock Band Table for Six released their debut, 13 track album Badgercore yesterday via Adult Style Entertainment Records. Along with the album release, the band dropped an accompanying music video for their song “Sombra,” the sixth track on the album.

“[Sombra] was the last song we wrote for our album,” said guitarist Michael Diestra. “I remember Jameel [Almoradi] sending me an audio file of the guys playing it in his garage during a practice I couldn’t attend. When I heard it, I remember falling in love with the melody and all of the song’s transitions. I couldn’t wait to hear it in person, not just through my phone speaker.”

“This song is written as a musical suite, meaning that it has no repeating parts,” explained guitarist Reed Johnson. “Each section of the song is unique; much like "‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ or pretty much every other baroque piece. It ends with a variation of pachelbel's canon in D.”

“In regards to our album, I swear that none of our fans will listen to it as much as I have already listened to it,” said Diestra. “If there is someone out there who wants to challenge me, let’s do it! I love it because our music is unlike anything that’s out there today. I mean, who else would mix classical piano with guitar solos? I haven’t found that elsewhere.”

The band doesn’t have any tours lined up currently, but you can follow them on social media and all streaming platforms.
