Silent Planet Announce Redux Album, Release Two Songs

It looks like Silent Planet has a boat load of surprises for fans in 2020. The band posted a photo on Instagram on December 23 with the caption: “TRILOGY 2020. Two massive announcements coming soon. We will be back and we will be better than ever. Belief > Machine”.

On December 24, vocalist Garrett Russell tweeted “we are releasing something on Friday. you’ve heard it before but also you haven’t. Hope you like it”.

The news has since broken that the band will be releasing a redux album of The Night God Slept. their first full length album released in 2014. The songs that are currently available to listen to off the album are “XX (City Grave)” and “Wasteland,” debuting today, December 27. 

“XX (City Grave)” and “Wasteland” are available to listen to and stream on all major music platforms. The rest of the album will be made available in late January. For those interested in physical copies, they can be purchased in vinyl form here on the band’s website.
