Pierce The Veil and Kellin Quinn Start 2020 off Platinum

Pierce The Veil and Kellin Quinn, vocalist of Sleeping With Sirens, start 2020 on the best of notes with Collide With The Sky’s “King for a Day” being certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song was previously certified Gold in November of 2014, but with over 114 million views on YouTube, it was only a matter of time before this iconic scene track reached the next level of certification.

Pierce The Veil took to Twitter to share their excitement for the news. “NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS would we have dreamt that this could happen, but “King For A Day” just went fucking platinum,” they exclaim. “PTV FANS, THIS BELONGS TO YOU and only you! Happy New Year! ❤️🤘🏻🎉”.

Kellin Quinn also shared his admiration for the band and their accomplishment. “Congrats @piercetheveil @piercethevic thanks for allowing me to be a part of this track!” he writes. “We were both in the right place at the right time my friend.. you’re one of the best song writers I’ve ever known! Thank you!”.
