Knocked Loose had an overly impressive year in terms of releasing one of their most affluent albums to date in A Different Shade of Blue and participating in some of the most successful tours of 2019, but none of this is stopping them from reaching out to do far greater things for others. The band is using their popularity to help with a very important problem that is plaguing society today, domestic violence.

Back in October, Knocked Loose posted on Facebook that they had created a t-shirt to help raise awareness for domestic abuse and violence. After raising almost 10K in funds for the organization, the band was finally able to donate the proceeds to The Center For Women and Families in their home state of Kentucky on Friday, January 3rd.

Per thehotline.org, domestic violence is "a pattern of behaviors used by one partner to maintain power and control over the partner in an intimate relationship." Any person, regardless of race or gender, can be held victim to such forms of abuse and it seems that Knocked Loose is trying to bring awareness to such inhumane acts.

It's absolutely amazing what one t-shirt can do for one organization when people in their own community join together for a greater cause. While the band is known for some of the best music in the scene, they can now go down in the books for something far more heartfelt and selfless. Not just in their community, but by fans as well.
