Over the past few days, Crystal Lake vocalist Ryo Kinoshita has been dropping hints about a possible collaboration with Fit For A King . These hints, coupled with another reply from last week on an Instagram post, suggests the collaboration may soon be on its way. In this post, drummer Jared Easterling of Fit For A King replied with a wink to a fan in a comment thread relating to the nature of Kinoshita being a guest vocalist for a new track. At the time this did not confirm much, but boy did it make a few heads turn with excitement.

It wasn't until another post from Ryan Kirby of Fit for a King, where he tweeted "We have a guest vocalist on the new album, and when you find out who it is, it’ll be crystal clear why we picked him for the song." While this still does not confirm the collaborations are set in stone, it is very likely.

While some may have been questioning as to whether Fit For A King would be trending toward a change in sound, it need not be something fans should worry about. Kinoshita has performed with them live and the delivery was nothing less than brutally heavy. While these were only live performances, it does give credence as to what a possible collaboration between the two would be like in a studio setting.

Crystal Lake will be joining Fit For A King on the Dark Skies World Tour this spring, so perhaps we will get our first taste of new music from both parties.
