Las Vegas post-rock quartet Amarionette has released a powerful new single "Golden Without You" that pulls out all the stops to put on display a band that not only embraces its early-day roots, but pridefully boasts the new tricks they learned on their previous release Evolution.

Newest addition to the band Spencer "Issy" Berry works overtime to saturate the song in a barrage of impressive vocal display and technique. Issy effortlessly switching and transitioning from belting out like a sweet siren to delivering quickly articulated pop-R&B-esque bars that give the song the vibe you'd put this on the way to the club to put the past behind you and dance the night away. The harmonies and angelic choirs are a nice addition as they pop up throughout the song.

Instrumentation on the song is stellar, creating a wide array of emotions such as the somber bridge that pulls this usual upbeat melodic rollercoaster filled with EDM/synthwave interludes to rolling toms. Bassist Ron Wells has a well-pronounced funk element on the track that keeps the pulse of the song a constant. Guitarist Nick Raya goes hard to the walls of sound to create this ethereal angelic experience that galvanizes to create either a twinkly soundscape or powerful leads that cut through the mix. New and old fans of Amarionette have something to enjoy here. Joseph Arrington plays the drums harnessing the backbone of the track and always keeping things fresh with interesting dynamic transitions. The mix compliments his playstyle, and never comes off muddled or lost as everything here is in crisp order.

It's no wonder with a star-studded cast behind the production; Brandon Hawkes, Stephen McGee, Brandon Jones, with band members Spencer Berry and Nick Raya have a hand in production as well creating a more personal touch. What's more impressive is Royal Coda/ex-Dance Gavin Dance singer Kurt Travis having a hand in the track and vocal production, with additional drum engineering by Saosin guitarist Beau Burchell to create this really special feeling on this single. With the July 22 release for their latest album Sunset On The Generation promising vocal features from Andrés, Kurt Travis and Anemoria vocalist Joey Holiday, and the band presenting this high energy performance on this track, it's safe to say it could be an Album Of The Year!
