YUNGBLUD, Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker Hit Platinum with “I Think I’m OKAY”
YUNGBLUD, Machine Gun Kelly, and Travis Barker’s song “I Think I’m OKAY” has been certified Platinum in the US. This collab was released on July 5th 2019 on MGK’s album Hotel Diablo. These artists have collaborated together in pairs on other tracks, though when they came together, they made the magic happen. Platinum certification is equivalent to 1 million sales, which is a huge accomplishment. The track previously was Gold certified in December 2019.
Each artist has been working on solo projects, and Travis Barker recently topped the Hot Rock producers chart after having three songs with his production credits in the top 10 Hot Rock Songs chart. YUNGBLUD is about to release some new music of his own with “Strawberry Lipstick” coming out on Thursday, July 16th. And of course, MGK is currently working on his first rock album and released his lead single, “Bloody Valentine” this summer, which Travis Barker was also featured on.
With reaching this huge accomplishment, there is no telling what these talented artists will come up with next, but they have set their stage.
