Reimagined singles have been all the rage lately, and Grayscale is not sleeping on this refreshing trend. Yesterday, July 14th, the band took to Twitter to tease “something new coming soon” and then later on the same day saying, “Make sure you’re following us on Spotify.”

Today Grayscale fans were blessed with a reimagined version of a song off their most recent album, Nella Vita, “Baby Blue.” This afternoon the band took to Twitter announcing the reimagined single, writing “We wanted to inject some additional musical love into some songs off of Nella Vita. With Baby Blue, we added brass instruments, piano, extra percussion, and more to create this big band feel and sound.”

“Baby Blue” is one of three singles to be reworked on a three-song EP recorded live from The Barber Shop Studios, which is set to be released in full on July 29th. Grayscale also wrote on their Twitter, “‘Live From The Barber Shop Studios,’ a 3-song audio and video performance of reworked songs from our album ‘Nella Vita.’”

This jazz rock-inspired cover of can be found on YouTube, Spotify, and all other available streaming services. For the other two songs, we will just have to wait and see what Grayscale comes up with on July 29th.
