Curator Picks- “Metalcore Legends”

See this content in the original post

I recently updated our Metalcore Legends playlist and here are 5 of my favorite tracks from this month’s update. I’m always open to suggestions, these are just tracks that I have been finding myself jamming from bands you may or may not have heard of. Let me know which artists you guys are digging! Always looking for more suggestions!

“Side Effects”- Kingdom Of Giants

The 4th full length from this band is due out on October 16th through Sharptone Records. This track has such a nice buildup and incorporates so many cool technical elements. I definitely hear Architects and Northlane influences while listening to this track but they make it their own and they definitely kill it. The track sounds great and I honestly can’t wait for this record!  I would also recommend checking out “Sync”, another single from this upcoming record!

“Erase”- Imminence

This Swedish metalcore band has such a unique sound, incorporating violins into their unique take on metalcore. This track off of their latest full length “Turn The Light On”  is beautiful and the melody in the chorus is simply breathtaking. One of my favorite tracks at the moment!

“Gold Blooded”- InVisions

This song has everything I love about this genre. The vocals are absolutely killer and the breakdowns are nasty!! Such a solid sound from a band that I think is criminally underrated. If you love this track, do not hesitate to go and check out more of this band’s material. This band is great!

“Bring You Home”- Myka Relocate

I always find myself going back to this band when I am in need of some catchy, high energy metalcore tunes. This track has such a solid chorus and is just so much fun to listen to. This band, unfortunately, called it quits a few years ago. If you haven’t checked them out before I would highly recommend them!

“Out Of Sight • Out Of Mind”- Ocean Sleeper

I love this band’s debut record Don’t Leave Me This Way. Not afraid to speak on the topic of mental health, this song tackles the battles that can go on inside your brain and fighting to stay alive using whatever means possible. A young Australian metalcore band that is definitely worth paying attention to.
