Scene Daddy counts down the 5 tracks you NEED to hear this week! No time to waste, let the mosh commence.

#5 / varials - “.50”

Philly breakdown enthusiasts Varials have announced their new album Scars For You to Remember will be available October 14th, and will feature “The Cycle of Violence: Chapter 1” and new single “.50.” With their latest effort In Darkness dropping way back in 2019, Varials have been itching for new material. It’s safe to say these mosh-inducing anthems of singles we’ve received thus far should make up for the delay.

#4 / sucker punch - “high fives all around”

Raised in the New Jersey and Philly DIY punk scene, Sucker Punch have been making a splash in the alternative music scene with their recent releases echoing back to a time when Taking Back Sunday reigned supreme. With their latest single “High Fives All Around,” Sucker Punch bring all of their influences together for a single high-energy punk anthem.

#3 / story of the year - “real life”
