New Orleans-based pop punk outfit Hey Thanks! have released their incredibly upbeat new track “From Me 2 U”, and if this song doesn’t scream “the perfect summer beach day” to you, then I don’t know what will! It’s an energetic fusion of pop-punk and emo that fits right along with the latest tunes from Neck Deep and Blink-182, while also pulling influence from the likes of The Maine and The 1975. “From Me 2 U” is the first taste of a promising upcoming record from Hey Thanks! “This single is the beginning of a new era for us and the beginning of a record we put a lot of heart into,” says the band. “It’s the first time we all feel as though it’s a true representation of this band, as far as the last 4 years we’ve been together at least.
