In a world run by social media meant to bring people together, we can not find ourselves pulling farther apart as a community. Such is why music is a huge community builder, bringing people together from all around the globe and all walks of life. A sense of purpose and belonging, something so easily forgotten in the age of technological chaos. What if one could use music and the internet to create a space of inclusion? A space where people can get together and support each other while navigating life’s many curveballs. After dedicating five years to pop punk band, Happy, Tate Logan has decided to branch out with a solo project stemming around an NFT collection club in partnership with Cloutchain.

No need to panic, the pop punk vocalist is not leaving Happy, nor is he putting the band on hold. Simply, Tate Logan is expanding his reach and using his platform to offer a digital space for the LGBTQ+ community to connect and find support amongst one another. “I want my fans to feel understood and valued,” Logan says. “I want to build a community with a true connection. I grew up a full-blown stan of the artists I loved, and the tangible, intimate moments made me a lifelong love of their art.” He then continued on to say “As a trans person, my goal is to create a space where LGBTQ+ fans can express themselves and be met with full love and support. You are always welcome here. You are encouraged to be exactly who you are.”

The digital club offers three themed collections that fans can buy on his website including a “Friend Crush” club edition, “Coffee & Covers” premiere edition, and the rare horror edition “What’s Your Favorite Scary Movie.” The more cards you collect the more perks there will be to discover. Hidden randomly amongst the packs are cool benefits which can include exclusive access to unreleased music, free movie tickets, and more. As Logan explains on the club page, “This isn’t like any other VIP or meet & greet you’ve ever done. This is constantly evolving, changing and updating to keep you excited and engaged. We are going to do all sort of weird and fun stuff together.”

Will NFT clubs be the new fan clubs? Who is to say for sure, but what we do know is that Tate Logan is creating a cool card collecting community that benefits and supports the LGBTQ+ community, a creative way to use your platform to spread positivity and acceptance. You can join the digital card club here. Do not hesitate, because access to this club runs from now until July 22.
