K.VANITY Gaining Quick Popularity With Second Single “Club Zombies”

Self-proclaimed ‘goth boy supervillain’ K.VANITY has quickly gained popularity with his second ever single “Club Zombies”. Since its release just over a month ago, “Club Zombies” has amassed more than 16,000 streams on Spotify and over 18,000 views on YouTube, an impressive feat for a fresh artist in a competitive scene. Fusing alternative punk and glam rock, K.VANITY draws a clear influence from the likes of My Chemical Romance and The Strokes, without compromising their true nature.

Per K.VANITY, “Club Zombies” is an ode to the New York City slub scene. “I originally wanted Club Zombies to be a narration of the underground club scene / fashion world in New York City, through the eyes of a club kid,” says K.VANITY. “It’s a story you see so often out there; staying up for 3 days straight turning into a zombie and writing it off as heroin chic, but any art form should be subjective. I feel like the more you talk about why you do the art that you do the more jaded it gets. So if you can relate to the music and it means something to you then rad, if it doesn’t then that’s cool too.

“Club Zombies” is just the first of several tracks to be released in 2022. “We have 2 more tracks to round out the release, “ICON”, and “Fuck Beverly Hills”. K.VANITY continues, “Both are high-energy punk tracks that further continue to tell the story of "Club Zombies". If the official music video (featured below) for “Club Zombies” has piqued your interest for the storyline K.VANITY is weaving, then be sure to keep an eye out for these future singles.
