When one door closes, another one opens...

A new chapter now begins for Illinois pop-punk band Real Friends.

Last year, Real Friends mutually parted ways with founding member and frontman Dan Lambton. The band still intended to create music in his absence, but the future was uncertain: were they able to carry on without the vocalist or would this change of events result in the group’s eventual demise?

Well, it’s the start of a new era. It has been revealed that Cody Muraro, previously part of Youth Fountain, is the band’s new frontman.

Real Friends have also announced their signing to Pure Noise Records and the release of two new tracks.

The first song “Nervous Wreck” is an infectious pop-punk banger, while “Storyteller” displays a more vulnerable side of the band.

Real Friends recently posted a statement on their Facebook, sharing their excitement for the bright future that’s ahead of them as they welcome Cody to the RF family as an official member of the band.

Stay tuned for more RF updates and check them out on our Defend Pop Punk playlist on Spotify.

This is only the beginning.
